Born and raised in Kent many moons ago.. I was raised by my amazing Mum and a car mad Father who used to build (and street race!) his own cars.
When I was little I was lucky enough to attend many races at Brands Hatch with my Dad. I got to see Nigel Mansell win his first ever Formula 1 race, as well as Alain Prost, Nelson Piquet and Ayrton Senna in action too. It was also the era that saw the late Barry Sheene trade 2 wheels for 6 and go truck racing. I even got to meet him and get his autograph during a Paddock walk - I was a very happy 9 year old that day!
We couldn't afford for me to get into proper Motorsport racing, so I ended up racing 1/10 Off Road RC Cars and was club Champion in both 2WD and 4WD classes several years running. It could be argued that this hobby got just as, if not more expensive than if I'd got into Go-Karting! Obviously Mum never knew how much my Dad was spending though...
Needless to say Motorsport has always been in my life in one form or another.
When I'm not taking photos of cars, I am a father to a cheeky 6 year old daughter, a Mountain Biker (getting back into it after 20 years!), a Freelance Creative Artworker, and also the Official Photographer for the ECOC Exhibition - the largest optical communications exhibition in Europe.
Anyway, enough about me! Go and check out my photos!
